Joe Nocera at the New York Times just published some appalling photos from the firm’s sadistic homeless-themed Halloween party last year; the images were sent to him by a former Baum worker. The old employee explained that the snapshots were a very accurate representation of the firm’s callous attitudes:
“There is this really cavalier attitude. It doesn’t matter that people are going to lose their homes.”

Thousands of ordinary citizens, workers, students and union members swarmed the state capitol in Olympia Washington yesterday, the culmination of a week of peaceful protests and uprisings that have been taking place in the city. The massive demonstration was partly in response to the proposed five billion dollars in spending cuts that Washington legislators are considering for the budget’s next two-year cycle.
Thousands of photos have just been leaked which show members of the United States military posing with and mocking the dead bodies of Afghan civilians. It has been alleged that a group of sadistic soldiers murdered several innocent people in Afghanistan, then took photos of themselves posing with the bloody dead corpses. Der Spiegel has just published some of the horrific images taken of the slaughtered victims. Why did the United States invade Afghanistan again?
